Now that the Yate Community Plan has been published and adopted by Yate Town Council, the next step has been taken, and a new Steering Group formed on 15 October will be overseeing the implementation of the Plan’s recommendations through the many interest groups in the town.
Your comments and views will still be welcomed especially if you think that projects appear not to be progressing, or progressing quickly enough although please remember that some projects are by their nature long term.
Members of the Implementation Group will be working with appropriate local groups, and will meet in February next year to review progress. You will be given the opportunity to express your views at the Annual Town Meeting in April. Watch this space for dates.

You may have noticed that there is now a website "myyate" which we hope will not confuse but help to address the comment that it isn't currently easy to find out what is going on in Yate. This website has been set up by Clare Jaggard who will be pleased to include any information on events in Yate.
